Cassia a nonprofit senior living organization is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialistto join our growing team! In this vital role youll focus on billing for Medicare A Managed Care and Medicaid. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in both healthcare and Medical Assistance billing. TheAccounts Receivable Specialistreports to the Director of Reimbursement.
Based at our Edina MN corporate office you will enjoy a welcoming environment with supportive leadership and a friendly teamwho are dedicated to the wellbeing of our residents. We serve senior care campuses in Minnesota North Dakota Iowa Colorado and Florida.
This is a FullTime benefit eligible position with the potential to work remotely with a hybrid schedule after training is completed.
Pay Range: $45000 to $55000 / year depending on experience.
Accounts Receivable Specialist responsibilities:
- Complete Care Center and Assisted Living billing.
- Postcash and ancillaries to accounts accurately and timely.
- Generate private pay statements.
- Generateclaims and submits them timely and accurately for all payers responsible for.
- Performall collection for payers assigned to ensure timely payments.
- Manage days outstanding for all facilities assigned to meet organizations requirements.
- Determineif there are billing issues causing payment delays and corrects them.
- Performall closing functions timely and accurately.
- Understandand is accomplished in using the following systems: DDE MNITS Excel Third Party payer websites.
- Meetdeadlines as assigned by manager.
- Participatein internal committees and meetings.
- Participatein staff training programs.
- Performother duties as assigned.
Accounts Receivable Specialist Skills and Requirements:
- Must have 1 years of healthcare billing experience.
- Must haveMedicare A Managed Care Medicaid billing experience.
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
