Job Description
We are looking for aRECEPTIONISTto join our team!
Hourly Rate:$18.50 to $20.00 per hour (based on relevant experience)
Job Type:Full Time
Location:Marlboro NJ & Wall NJ
*This position will require you to be in our Marlboro office on Monday Wednesday Friday and our Wall office on Tuesday and Thursdays temporarily.

Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine (THSM) recently partnered with Atlantic Health Systems in an effort to grow our medical neighborhood and our plan is to grow that medical neighborhood fast! With a goal to get patients out of pain and keep them out of pain; THSM has effectively achieved an extremely high satisfaction rate from our patients. Located throughout New Jersey THSM takes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care by offering a variety of treatments and services including but not limited to: Acupuncture Chiropractic Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy Massage Therapy and Physical Medicine services. Each discipline works together with years of experience to find the best possible treatment program for our patients. THSM is looking for team members who want to make a difference in peoples lives through highquality treatment and unprecedented care for our patients outcomes.
Office Hours:
Monday / Wednesday / Friday: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Tuesday / Thursday: 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM
***Weekends are not required.
Job Duties (Including but not limited to):
- High quality customer service
- Talking to patients answering phones answering emails and messages
- Scheduling/rescheduling/cancelling patient appointments
- Taking coinsurance payments and copayments
- Explaining paperwork and documentation
- Verify patient insurances via phone call or website
- Be knowledgeable of services provided
- Attend internal and external company marketing events
- Attending company trainings
- Adhering to company policies
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to utilize a computer for long periods of time
- Must be able to handle a fastpaced office with large patient volume
Preferred Skills (not required):
- Previous medical receptionist experience.
- Prior use of Epic (electronic EHR system).
- Knowledge of chiropractic physical therapy occupational therapy and/or acupuncture.
- Knowledge of health insurance.
