At Coupang thePost Purchase and Labor Force System (LFS)team has two core missions:
- Deliver a seamless postpurchase experienceorder cancellations returns exchanges and customer support.
- Empower our workforcefrom hiring and time management to benefits and beyond.
As one of Coupangs most visited and critical domains we build scalable reliable tools using cuttingedge technology. We continuously improve through operational and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture design for scalable extensible and reliable systems in Post Purchase & LFS.
- Align technology roadmaps with leadership and stakeholders.
- Remove technical blockers and simplify complex problems into actionable solutions.
- Decompose complex problems into simple straightforward solutions providing mechanisms for the teams to prioritize ruthlessly and Move with Urgency.
- Write code when needed to guide teams and support highpriority initiatives.
- Identify business and tech opportunities; evaluate and adopt new technologies.
- Recruit mentor and grow toptier engineering talent.
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 15 years in software development with a strong record of delivering impactful largescale systems.
- 7 years building and operating backend services and web applications.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems storage data processing and server technologies.
- Strong coding skills in Java and Spring Framework; objectoriented design.
- Experience driving improvements in code quality
- Additionally experience with:
- AWSbased service development and operations
- Frontend frameworks (React Angular)
- ORM tools (JPA Hibernate) domain modeling
- NoSQL and relational/columnar databases
- Git CI/CD automation and Agile methodologies
- Logisticsrelated service development
