Senior Integration Developer

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC seeks Senior Integration Developer in Houston TX.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for implementing integration between clients B2B partners and internal applications leveraging Boomi Integration platform.
• Work with application owners and technical leads to understand requirements and implement integration solutions.
• Contribute to high visibility assignments related real time application integration and web service project work.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Develop implement and support complex API and EDI integrations for freightforwarding applications that service air ocean customs brokerage and logistics.
• Collaborate with product owners on technical scoping and recommendations.
• Maintain consistent communication with leadership on status and impediments as they arise.
• Other duties as assigned.

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Requires 1 year of experience with ETL development leading platforms (Informatica SnapLogic Dell Boomi Talend or Sterling Integrator). Any amount of experience with the following:
  • Relational databases and SQL scripting including TSQL DDL and DML; Scripting languages (JavaScript Python or Ruby) for transformation requirements; Web API or services (JSON or XML) to develop realtime integrations with internal or external systems; Working in an Agile or Scrum environment; Web UI/backend development skills including HTML5 or CSS3. Telecommuting is allowed for this position. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education training or experience.

• Strong written and verbal skills both business and technical.
• Ability to work independently and remain focused under time constraints.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical team members.
• Strong proficiency in inbound and outbound interfaces for various transaction sets.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Talking hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard mouse and other computer components
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or closely related field plus five (5) years of computerrelated experience OR a Masters degree in Computer Science or closely related field plus five (3) years of computerrelated experience.
