OpenRoom has been established for over 20 years and has recently sold a majority shareholding to CloserStill Media an international exhibitions company. Our offices are in West London and the roles are office based with international travel.
We have exciting growth plans over the next two to three years and are looking for ambitious and motivated people to join our awardwinning teams. OpenRoom Events is a b2b event organiser specialising in the format of 121 meetings and networking in the retail veterinary dental and pharmacy markets worldwide
ABOUT THE ROLE
Were looking for someone with 2 years experience in a similar field. As a Sales Manager your strengths should include:
Strong commercial skills
Selfmotivated proactive and keen to learn
Pays attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think creatively and input into other areas of the business (marketing operations etc)
A team player with strong people skills were a closeknit team that demands flexibility and a cando approach
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Someone to sell places at our events
Develop new business by sourcing leads using a variety of methods (LinkedIn web competitors attending industry events etc.)
Key account management develop strong relationships with important clients and maximise revenue
Contribute to the overall event development: source conference speakers monitor industry trends work with partners
Responsibility for ensuring all targets are met for the events that you work on within the portfolio
Work with the marketing team to create a communication plan for your events and think of creative ways to promote our events
Attend our events as part of the onsite event management team
