Job Description
Job Title: Solution Architect (BEA3)
Location: Fredericton NB
Department: Department of Health Innovation and eHealth Branch
Reports To: Enterprise Architecture Team
Contract Type: FixedTerm
Description:
The Solution Architect will work closely with the Department of Healths Enterprise Architecture team collaborating with SNB RHAs vendors and stakeholders to develop and support MyHealthNB and other Digital Health initiatives. Responsibilities include:

Developing architecture blueprints and frameworks for MyHealthNB.

Supporting eHealth projects to ensure alignment with architectural standards.
-
Defining solution requirements standards and guiding principles.
-
Reviewing and providing feedback on architecture deliverables.
-
Participating in Stage Gates to assess project readiness.
-
Assisting in RFP development and implementation planning.
-
Ensuring solutions align with Department of Healths standards.
-
Collaborating with SNB teams for technical guidance and development.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate the following:
-
A university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
-
A minimum of 15 years of IM/IT experience.
-
At least 10 years as a Solution Architect on mediumlarge system development or COTS implementation projects.

Ability to work onsite in Fredericton NB as per contract requirements.
Desirable Qualifications:
Candidates should demonstrate expertise in:
-
Leading technical teams (analysts programmers) on IT projects for at least 5 years.
-
Leading technical design & requirements sessions performing solution due diligence for 5 years.
-
Developing architecture deliverables identified in the project scope for 5 years.
-
Delivering enterprise solutions ensuring longterm scalability & maintainability for 5 years.
-
Evaluating solutions (custom vs COTS vs SaaS vs PaaS) for 5 years.
-
Acting as an architect on transformational projects mentoring technical teams for 5 years.
-
Handson eHealth architecture experience for 3 years.
-
Working with HL7 (V2 V3 FHIR) standardsbased messaging for 2 years.
