Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring a Basic Grade Medical Scientist Biochemistry for a leading Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Help with the creation upkeep and enforcement of protocols about every section of the lab and the associated testing apparatus.
- As decided by the laboratory manager and chief medical scientist conduct scientific activity in accordance with the necessary JCI Accreditation Standards.
- Achieve compliance with INAB Accreditation standards and the E.U. Directive on Blood/Blood Products if working in an INAB accredited laboratory discipline.
- As needed take part in the laboratory teams training. Be a committed professional and ontime team player in the lab that encourages candid communication.
Requirements
- Possess membership or be eligible for membership of the Academy of Medical Laboratory Science (AMLS) or equivalent.
- Registration with CORU
- Minimum of 1 year in service training across all disciplines.
- Experience in Biochemistry is essential.
- Post qualification experience desirable.
- Have partaken in emergency oncall rotas.
