Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for a local 13-week assignment in an Adult Outpatient Clinic setting. This is a local-only opportunity backfilling a previous role with no weekend or on-call requirement. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience a valid Washington MA-C license and be comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Perform patient intake including vital signs hearing/vision screening and history documentation
Set up for and assist providers with minor office procedures and exams
Administer immunizations TB tests and nebulizer treatments
Collect and label lab specimens: throat swabs urine samples venipuncture
Perform basic point-of-care lab tests including blood glucose
Manage refill requests and coordinate with pharmacies
Triage phone calls and provide follow-up communication with patients
Maintain exam room stock and cleanliness
Support other clinics within scope as needed
Must be Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) with active Washington State license at time of submission
Must be local to WA (within commuting distance with a valid WA address)
Must have reliable personal transportation
Minimum 1 year of MA experience required
First-time travelers accepted
No on-call no weekends
Must be flexible to float within skillset as needed
RTO must be disclosed at time of submission
Pending licenses are not accepted
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a clinic or outpatient setting
Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
License & Certifications:
Washington State MA-C License Required
BLS Certification Required
