Job Description
Fastpaced Dermatology office seeking an energetic teamoriented Certified Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate has relevant experience is certified and eager to learn about Dermatology!
Duties:
- Room patients
- Administer IM injections
- Scribe for provider during visits
- Set up and assist during surgical and cosmetic procedures
- Suture removals
- Stock and sanitize rooms
- Autoclave instruments
- Communicate biopsy prescription and lab results to patients
- Maintain pathology log
- Schedule patients for surgical procedures
- Administer Photodynamic Therapy
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant is preferred
- Confident with Sterile technique
- Eager to learn about Dermatology in a fastpaced environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Comfort using various computer programs and Electronic Medical Record systems
Job Type:
- Fulltime Monday Friday 7:45am 5pm
- One overnight trip per month with the provider to practice in Gunnison CO office (expenses paid)

Experience:
- 2 years of experience Medical Assisting is preferred
- Candidates with Dermatology experience are more competitive in this role
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Certifications/Licenses:
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant is preferred
Pay
- Pay starts at $18.50 per hour based on experience
