Job Description
The role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Capital Markets Associate to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of Greater China IPO transactions including but not limited to ECM transactions and some DCM transactions. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets as well as the ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft review and negotiate legal documentation related to Greater China equity captial markets transactions and debt capital markets transactions.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities stock exchanges and other stakeholders in connection with the issuance of debt securities.
- Conduct legal research and provide advice on a broad range of issues pertaining to debt capital markets including regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
- Collaborate with crossborder teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Participate in client meetings and conference calls to discuss transactional structures and legal issues.
Qualifications :
Your experience
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 1 3 years PQE in capital markets within a reputable law firm or financial institution.
- Strong academic credentials in law.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is mandatory.
- Proven track record in managing capital markets transactions with a particular focus on the AsiaPacific market.
- Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong analytical communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player with a commitment to delivering highquality work.
