Job Description

  • Challenge yourself to enable the delivery the Qantas Groups responsible procurement strategy and program
  • Key role developing and managing supplier diversity and accessibility across Qantas Groups procurement practices

In the position of Specialist Responsible Procurement you will help us bring that vision to life by embedding supplier diversity and accessibility into our procurement processes across the Group. Youll take the lead on designing and delivering procurement strategies that foster inclusion support First Nations businesses and ensure accessibility is front and centre.

Youll collaborate with crossfunctional teams senior leadership and external partners to deliver on commitments made in our Reconciliation Action Plan and Access & Inclusion Plan. Youll also shape and manage key programs that grow and elevate diverse suppliers across our national network along with reporting and tracking progress against key supplier diversity metrics.

Youll have:

  • 35 years relevant experience in procurement supplier diversity sustainability inclusion & diversity or First Nations engagement.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g: Business Commerce Public Policy Social Impact)
  • Proven track record in developing strategies managing programs and influencing across complex stakeholder environments.
  • Deep understanding of First Nations cultures values and engagement approaches.
  • Strong project management data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a passion for driving meaningful change.
