SUMMARY:
Zermount Inc. is seeking a missiondriven Technical Recruiter to support our growing team through the Hiring Our Heroes platform. This role is ideal for transitioning service members or veterans with a strong understanding of military occupational specialties and experience in translating military skills into civilian job qualifications. As a Technical Recruiter you will be responsible for sourcing screening and recommending toptier technical talent including transitioning service members and veterans for roles across the organization. In addition this role will oversee the entire HOH platform for Zermounts recruiting efforts including maximizing the utilization of the platform proposing and scheduling hiring events training fellow recruiters on processes and best practices and ensuring a smooth transition of veterans into the organization.
You will serve as a critical link between our talent acquisition strategy and our commitment to hiring and empowering veterans in the civilian workforce.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source candidates on job boards specifically on Hiring Our Heroes.
- Assist in building out internal candidate database.
- Recruiting system data management including data checking updating filing etc.
- Monitor and analyze effectiveness of key sourcing tools while providing reports on sourcing activity and results.
- Track and report staffing and recruiting data/metrics including but not limited to open positions number of candidates sourced cost per hire and time to fill.
- Keep track of applicants as well as keep applicants informed on the application process.
- Communicate with hiring managers to identify future job openings and the technical requirements for those jobs.
- Leverage personal military experience to interpret military job codes and translate those skills into qualifications aligned with technical civilian roles.
- Source engage and build pipelines of qualified veteran and militaryaffiliated candidates for technical and engineering roles.
- Recruit for a wide range of roles including cybersecurity compliance architects engineers SMEs and corporate office positions.
- Ensure an inclusive respectful and seamless candidate experience from application through hire.
- Conduct technical and cultural fit interviews evaluate candidate qualifications and present highpotential candidates to hiring team that meet contractual requirements.
- Represent the company at veteranfocused job fairs career transition events and technical networking opportunities (virtual and inperson).
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate reports on veteran sourcing and hiring performance.
- Propose plan and schedule relevant veteran focused hiring and engagement events within Hiring Our Heroes platform and with local partners.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 13 years of relevant work experience.
- Prior experience in evaluating and selecting technical personnel with military backgrounds and experience.
- A good understanding of technology and technical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Driven hardworking and able to take direction and multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and effectively present to corporate leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word Excel Access PowerPoint Project).
- Must be selfmotivated detail oriented and highly organized.
- Knowledge of DoD SkillBridge or Hiring Our Heroes Program.

PREFERRED:
- Familiarity with militarytocivilian transition tools (e.g. O*NET MilGears etc.).
- Experience with ATS systems; experience with candidate management systems.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources IT or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Professional years of relevant experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
LOCATION:
- Onsite at Zermount Corporate Headquarters in Arlington Virginia.
- Occasional travel to relevant recruiting events and activities

- Business Hours: 9:00 am EST 6:00 pm EST
- Core Hours: 9:00 am EST 3:00 pm EST
