Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity The Division of Cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center ( UNMC ) in Omaha is actively recruiting an interventional cardiologist with a passion for excellence in patient care teaching and clinical research to join our growing academic team. Opportunity Highlights Join a rapidly expanding academic practice with a strong commitment to innovation and excellence Collaborate with a team of three experienced interventional cardiologists and work alongside nationally recognized leaders in cardiovascular medicine and surgery Engage in clinical research with robust institutional support tailored to your interests and expertise Enjoy a balanced role that integrates clinical care research and teaching of medical students residents and fellows Structured clinical responsibilities include at least two halfday clinics per week scheduled time in the cardiac catheterization lab and shared inpatient service responsibilities Participate in training and supervision of cardiology fellows residents and advanced practice providers UNMC qualifies as an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness ( PSLF ) Program Competitive Compensation & Benefits Physicians enjoy a highly competitive package inclusive of a variable compensation plan.
