Job Description
Description of the role:
University Home Care is currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Newport MI. The Personal Care Assistant will be responsible for providing support to elderly or disabled clients who require assistance with personal care and daily living activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene bathing grooming and dressing
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks
- Accompanying clients to appointments and recreational activities( if needed)
Requirements:
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job
- Compassionate and empathetic towards clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
