Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced handson Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations for guest rooms public spaces equipment and building systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong leadership and technical skills capable of managing a small team while also performing maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead schedule and supervise the maintenance team to ensure prompt highquality repairs and upkeep.
Perform and oversee preventive maintenance on HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems.
Respond to urgent maintenance issues including guest room calls and facility emergencies.
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities repairs and inspections.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized work.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Train team members on safety protocols and operational procedures.
Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk to prioritize work orders and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
3 years of maintenance experience in a hotel residential or commercial facility.
1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC plumbing electrical and general building systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform handson repairs.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lead by example and work flexible shifts including weekends or oncall rotations.
HVAC or other trade certifications are a plus.
