Are you ready to take your career to new heights in the aerospace industry Collins Aerospace a leader in aviation technology is offering an exciting opportunity for an Quality Inspector to join our fastpaced and innovative team. In this role you will play a crucial part in the production of highend aviation seating switches and lighting products for renowned airlines such as Qantas Etihad Emirates and British Airways.
This is your chance to be part of a closeknit team of professionals where you will be responsible for conducting all Quality Inspection and coordination activities in a manner that conforms to company and H&S procedures. If youre passionate about working with precision have a strong eye for detail and want to contribute to the next generation of aviation technology we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical and Cosmetic inspection
- Provide Quality control activities including new product introduction
- Provide inspection services for goods inwards repairs & returns and assembly.
- Reporting major quality issues to senior leadership
- First Article inspection
Skills and Experience:
- It is Essential that the successful candidate has solid inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment.
- Technically competent able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate effectively with a team.
- Attention to Detail: Capable of maintaining precision in a fastpaced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Strong Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication and numerical skills are essential.
- Familiarity with Quality disciplines including 8D reporting 5 Whys and the completion of corrective action reports. (also essential)
