Role Description
Our client a fastgrowing VCbacked startup is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus. Youll lead the development of scalable APIs and infrastructure while collaborating on AIpowered features. This role involves working closely with the CTO and product team to build reliable systems and integrate modern AI tools. While primarily backend youll occasionally support frontend delivery to ensure seamless functionality across the stack.
Tasks
- Design build and maintain backend services APIs and infrastructure
- Develop scalable secure systems to support AIpowered product features
- Integrate AI technologies such as LLMs vector databases and thirdparty APIs
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements and solutions
- Occasionally support frontend development to ensure full feature delivery
- Optimize system performance reliability and maintainability
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a full stack or backend engineer
- 1 year of experience working with AI technologies (e.g. OpenAI Hugging Face custom ML models)
- Strong backend experience with multiple languages such as Python Go or Java
- Proficiency in TypeScript for backend or shared codebases
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Solid understanding of backend architecture scalability and system design
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React is a plus but not required
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience at an earlystage or venturebacked startup
- Handson work with AI toolchains and frameworks in production environments
- Agile team experience
- Contributions to opensource projects or engineering communities
