Location:West Tulsa
Pay:$17 per hour
Shift:SundayThursday 10:30 PM 7:00 AM(Training required on day shift for at least one week: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Position Overview
We are seeking amotivated and detailoriented Shear Operatorto join our team in aclimatecontrolled teamoriented warehouse. This role is ideal for a candidate looking toenhance their skills in machine operationswhile contributing to a growing company. The right individual will demonstratestrong attendance a willingness to work in multiple departments and a drive to learn new skills.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate shearing machinesto cut metal plates accurately according to customer specifications.
Inspect cut platesfor dimensional accuracy and surface quality ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
Perform routine maintenanceon shearing equipment to maintain efficiency and longevity.
Follow all safety protocolsto maintain a secure and hazardfree work environment.
Collaborate with production and quality control teamsto coordinate operations and resolve issues.
Utilize computers proficientlyfor data entry and inventory tracking.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experienceoperating shears in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
Forklift and overhead crane experience required.
Proficiency in basic warehouse and inventory systems.
Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16 of an inch.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing 50 lbs. or more.
Strong mathematical skillsfor quick onthejob calculations.
Proficiency in computer applicationsfor operational tracking.
Teamoriented and selfsufficient work ethic.
Strong organizational and communication skillsto collaborate effectively with team members.
