Job Description
We are currently looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails Software Developer to join a longterm project for one of our clients. The role focuses on backend development and API design with opportunities to contribute to both new feature development and maintenance of existing systems.
About the Role:
As a Software Developer you will be part of a collaborative development team responsible for building and maintaining core web applications. You will work on the design installation testing and maintenance of software systems with a strong focus on backend logic and data integrations.
- Design write and maintain highquality backend code using Ruby on Rails.
- Develop and manage APIs to ensure seamless communication between services.
- Maintain and optimize data storage and database interactions.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot debug and improve existing code and performance.
- Proven experience with Ruby programming language and the Rails framework.
- Experience in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and application server technologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a development team.
