A leading manufacturer and importer of quality processed foods and commodities seeks an experienced Sales Manager Electronics Sales. The ideal candidate will have 13 years of experience in corporate sales within the electronics industry with a strong focus on driving sales growth building client relationships and achieving financial targets. This role requires a proactive individual who can develop new business opportunities manage existing clients and ensure effective sales execution while adhering to company policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and reach out to potential corporate clients through various channels including networking referrals and direct outreach.
Generate new leads and maintain an active sales pipeline to achieve sales targets.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and market presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Understand client needs and provide tailored product solutions to meet their requirements.
Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling sales presentations.
Close deals effectively and ensure timely order processing and fulfillment.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities including lead generation sales calls client meetings and contract negotiations.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management on performance metrics and sales strategies.
Financial & Risk Management:
Achieve and exceed collection targets ensuring timely payments from clients.
Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions including invoices contracts and financial instruments.
Conduct customer risk assessments to evaluate creditworthiness before extending credit facilities.
Collaborate with the finance team to manage payment schedules and minimize financial risks.
Product & Market Knowledge:
Stay updated on the latest trends features and advancements in electronic products and white goods.
Develop a deep understanding of the company s product portfolio and how it compares to competitors.
Educate clients on product benefits specifications and aftersales services to enhance their purchasing decisions.
Team Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with marketing logistics and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.
Provide insights and feedback to the management team regarding customer preferences and market demands.
Assist in the development of promotional campaigns and strategies to drive product sales.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Sales or a related field.
13 years of sales experience in the electronics or white goods industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and maintain longterm business relationships.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and CRM software.
