Job Description

Youll love it because you will  

In Payroll: 

  • Manage biweekly and monthly payroll processing for employees in the U.S. Canada U.K. and Germany 
  • Handle payroll data entry including new hires department transfers pay rate and address changes direct deposit updates deductions and terminations 
  • Research and stay current on federal state and international payroll regulations to ensure compliance 
  • Address and resolve tax withholding garnishment and wage/hour issues 
  • Accurately calculate and set up garnishments levies and courtordered deductions in the payroll system 
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates of employee changes within the payroll schedule 
  • Review and audit payroll preview reports for accuracy and completeness 
  • Generate payroll reports using ADP reporting tools and Excel as needed 
  • Support audits related to finance 401(k) and insurance 
  • Process employee expense reimbursements through payroll 
  • Assist with special projects such as updating HR policies internal communications and providing general administrative support 
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll deductions benefits and other payrelated concerns 

In Accounts Payable: 

  • Enter and route invoices for approval using Coupa platform and Blue Cherry 
  • Post vendor payments in Dynamics SL 
  • Help manage the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner 
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve issues and ensure timely payments 
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies 
  • Support monthend close activities including accruals and account reconciliations 
  • Maintain accurate and organized AP records including W9s and other vendor documentation 
  • Assist with preparation and documentation for annual audits 

Qualifications :

We require  

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred 
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus 
  • 23 years of handson payroll and AP experience 
  • Solid understanding of payroll laws and regulations 
  • Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to resolving complex payroll issues 
  • Highly organized detailoriented and processdriven 
  • Excellent written verbal analytical and organizational skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite 
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality 
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and adapt to shifting priorities and responsibilities 
  • Sets objectives that align with team and organizational goals; develops plans commits to timelines and uses time effectively; anticipates allocates and monitors resources to deliver work requirements; documents job information. 
  • Speaks clearly and understandably; presents with confidence; gauges audience reaction interest and understanding and adjusts communication style or content accordingly. 
  • Upholds ethical standards maintains confidentiality fulfills commitments and promotes responsibility. 
  • Applies functional and technical expertise to accomplish work; adopts operates and repairs jobrelated technology effectively; generates new functionality within technology systems.
