Job Description
We are seeking a Cook to join our team! The Cook is responsible for the preparation and serving of meals for our Residents cooking a variety of foods to ensure the highest quality and Residents satisfaction maintains cleanliness of food service area and indirectly supervise cooks and food service workers. The cook will report to the Dietary Manager daily. The Cook would be able to show off their own flare in the kitchen and be able to create kitchen Special for our Residents.
- Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
- Check freshness and quality of ingredients
- Assist in the development of menu items
- Standardize recipes and plate presentations
- Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
- Observes diet restrictions or special orders
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in culinary arts cooking or other related fields
- Knowledge of food safety
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Familiar with food service disaster plans
