Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient Exterior Services Technician DOT Operator to join our commercial landscaping team in Woodstock GA. As a key member of our organization you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces while operating Department of Transportation (DOT) equipment.
- Operate and maintain DOT equipment for various landscaping projects
- Perform commercial landscaping tasks including mowing trimming planting and irrigation
- Implement landscape designs and maintain existing landscapes to client specifications
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety guidelines
- Conduct basic maintenance and repairs on landscaping equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and project requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- DOT certification and relevant safety certifications (e.g. OSHA)
- Proven experience in commercial landscaping and operating DOT equipment
- Proficiency in using various landscaping tools and techniques
- Strong knowledge of local flora and landscaping practices in the Woodstock GA area
- Thorough understanding of DOT regulations and guidelines
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
