The purpose of the role is to provide OUT with the tools and insights we need to enable execution on strategy. This analyst will work alongside a Support team to service various departments such as
- Legal
- Claims and Investigations
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain management reports/dashboards (SQL Visual Studio and Power BI)
- Build and maintain cube models (Power BI/Excel PowerPivot/Analysis services)
- Assist with onceoff data analyses and queries relating to Investigations and Legal
- Build and maintain internal datadriven automations (SQL/internally developed apps)
- Document and formalise key data processes and models to ensure a robust data analytics framework
- Build maintain and improve models to support business objectives including:
- Work allocation models
- Supporting the team with performance management models
- Staff projections
- Audit models
- Assist stakeholders in making datadriven decisions
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Hold a Degree in Actuarial Science Mathematics Statistics or similar
- The following will be beneficial:
- Experience working in actuarial/analytics field
- MS office including Advanced MS Excel
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Skills and Competencies
- Have strong analytical problem solving and SQL coding skills
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to collaborate with various stakeholders such as with operations other analysts and IT
- Be interested in critical thinking and challenging the status quo
- Be open minded and willing to learn
