Job Description
To serve beverages and food for guests in the Lobby Bar following SMI recipes and guidelines for preparation presentation and accountability in a cost efficient manner. Ensure compliance with all liquor laws in the preparation serving and consumption of alcoholic beverages in the restaurant.
- Anticipate guest expectations
- Take food and beverage orders and deliver the correct order in a timely manner
- Proper and friendly service to guests
- Turn in correct Micros paperwork with minimal errors
- Upsell food and beverage items as well as sundry items related to the hotel
- Consistently use the established points of service
- To be accountable for guest service and follow through
- Assist and support the other team members
- Maintain cleanliness of Lobby Bar area
- Control cost and waste in the work area
- Perform other duties and/or fill in at other positions
Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Able to work varied and flexible hours including midday shift weekends and holidays
- Must have previous Food & Beverage experience
- Communication skills are critical. Must be able to communicate clearly and listen attentively to management guests and fellow employees from the Lobby attendant to the Chef.
- Able to stand and be mobile for up to 4 hours. Able to lift bend and stoop to perform various tasks.
- Able to lift frequently and carry bus trays and other objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Hourly rate of $19.50
