Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in the assigned research area or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
- Experience working with rhesus macaques and/or capuchin monkeys is preferred.
- Experience working with animals in psychological and behavioral studies (outside of a medical setting and animal shelters) is essential.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word; knowledge of SPSS; knowledge of Visual Basic 6.0.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working with rhesus macaques and/or capuchin monkeys which is preferred. Experience working with animals in psychological and behavioral studies (outside of a medical setting and animal shelters) is essential. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word/ Knowledge of SPSS/ Knowledge of Visual Basic 6.0.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Scheduling investigator access to research animals rhesus macaques and capuchins and communicating with offsite investigators to coordinate data collection (e.g. installing research software and emailing data).
- Coordinating the research schedule for postdoctoral fellows graduate students undergraduate interns and students.
- Assisting onsite investigators with research activities such as recording data and coding video of research sessions.
- Designing implementing and maintaining research devices including computerized and mechanical apparatus.
