Position Overview:
The Manager or Sr. Manager (dependent on level of experience) of Digital Marketing and Communications will work directly with the Chief Content Officer on the support and execution of the Digital and Media teams endeavors related to the track & field under 20 space. This position will focus on digitalfirst content publication online community management and strategic media interaction with the support of the rest of the TrackTown USA digital team. This position will help maintain digital marketing campaign workflow publish content for digital channels and support daytoday digital projects and longterm team initiatives related to the track & field under 20 space. This position is the primary publisher for the yettobebuilt TrackTown USA under 20 digital channels (social media and website).
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary publisher for TrackTown USAs U20 specific social media website and nonpromotional email campaigns.
2. Provide coverage of relevant U20 events as assigned by the Chief Content Officer.
3. Correspond with relevant media outlets related to TrackTown USA U20 events as assigned by the Chief Content Officer.
4. Monitor the social media feeds and online conversation related to the TrackTown USA U20 brand as necessary with support from the rest of the digital team.
5. Bring fresh and pieinthesky ideas to the Digital and Brand teams.
6. Assist the Sr. Digital Video Producer/Editor in ideation for digitalfirst video content.
7. Creating effective operating plans for assigned functional areas programs and venues for assigned events.
8. Delivering projects that meet (and hopefully exceed) the expected results on time and within budget.
9. Establishing communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on assigned projects.
10. Recruiting training and managing the people necessary to deliver assigned projects.
11. Developing and managing effective client relationships.
12. Developing and managing effective supplier relationships.
13. Providing leadership management motivation and support to assigned project teams.
14. Being responsible for all assigned project budgets from start to finish.
15. Overseeing applicable contracts and payment schedules.
16. Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery.
17. Working all hours assigned including weekends and holidays if necessary
