Job Description
The Truckload Broker primary responsibility is to locate truckload carriers within a designated region or lane and negotiate rates and delivery terms according to the shipments specific requirements. Additionally this role involves taking comprehensive truckload orders from customers and identifying suitable truckload carriers in the geographic area capable of transporting the freight while meeting the desired service level and required margins.

We are seeking a candidate for the Truckload Broker role who brings experience in logistics excels in communication and problemsolving and demonstrates strong organizational and leadership skills. If you are adaptable professional and ready to manage the dynamic demands of this position we want to hear from you!
Hours: 7am 4pm or 8am 5pm Monday Friday 90 days training in office with option of hybrid after training
Compensation: starting at $25.24 $26.24 depending on experience

What does the job look like daily
Leverage your skills to locate top truckload carriers within designated regions or lanes. Your ability to find the right match is key to our success.
Negotiate competitive rates and favorable delivery terms tailored to each shipments unique needs. Your expertise ensures smooth costeffective operations.
Take comprehensive truckload orders from our valued customers ensuring every detail is covered.
Identify the perfect truckload carriers in the area capable of meeting our high service standards and required margins. Your decisions drive our efficiency and reliability.
Knowledge and Skills to be successful:
1 year of 3PL experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and multitasking abilities
Proficient negotiating skills persistence and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Outstanding people skills
Thorough knowledge of freight terminology documents and best practices
Excellent problemsolving abilities and negotiation skills
Time management with strong sense of urgency
