Job Description
This is your daily contribution to an exceptional guest experience
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all engineering systems HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanical.
- Lead schedule and support the engineering team ensuring effective coverage and high standards of work.
- Manage and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment guest rooms and public areas.
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests or emergencies minimising disruption to operations and guests.
- Collaborate with department heads to support operational needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental standards as well as legal and brand requirements.
- Manage contractors service providers and external inspections ensuring quality and timely work.
- Monitor and optimise energy use utilities and maintenance budgets.
- Keep detailed maintenance records and assist with capital planning and project implementation.
- Train your team on safety emergency procedures and best practices.
Qualifications :
Were looking for someone who brings both technical skill and creative spark:
- You have solid technical knowledge and previous experience in a senior engineering/maintenance role ideally within the hotel industry.
- Youre confident managing a team and setting high standards for safety quality and service.
- Youre skilled in troubleshooting and quick thinking always ready with a plan B.
- Youre organised calm under pressure and happy to be on call when needed.
- You know your way around building systems and maintenance tools and you understand the importance of documentation and compliance.
- Youre committed to keeping the hotel running smoothly so every guest has a great experience.
