Job Description

As a Hydraulics Sales Engineer you will be at the forefront of our customer engagement strategy combining your technical know how with your passion for client success. You will be required to identify and convert new business opportunities build enduring partnerships and deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively search for and engage new customers in your designated region.

  • Maximise client potential by understanding and interpreting technical requirements.

  • Develop and maintain strong longterm customer relationships.

  • Present solutions clearlydemonstrating how our products best meet customer needs in terms of quality price and delivery.

  • Negotiate tenders and contracts to ensure a winwin for both company and client.

  • Prepare detailed quotations and manage customer accounts efficiently.

  • Provide presales technical advice and comprehensive aftersales support.

  • Collaborate with the State Manager through detailed reporting and forecasting.

  • Consistently achieve sales targets and manage technical sales projects.

  • Deliver training sessions and support materials for internal sales teams.

  • Represent the company at trade shows conferences and client events.

  • Make technical presentations and contribute to the design of custom products.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business

  • Over 5 years in customer facing technical sales

  • Experience in negotiating and closing large complex deals.

  • Strong understanding of industrial products solutions and customer processes.

  • Ability to resolve all technical issues for assigned accounts to ensure satisfaction at every sales stage.

  • Achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Accurately and regularly use CRM to manage client interactions and sales pipeline.

  • Communicate efficiently with customers suppliers and internal teams.

  • Exhibit strong team collaboration communication and attention to detail.

  • Prioritise effectively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks independently.
