Job Description:

Marshfield Network Region of Sanford Health is seeking a Vice President of Medical Affairs Hospital Medical Director for the West Region supporting the Eau Claire Rice Lake and Ladysmith campuses. This individual will work collaboratively with a President dyad partner as well as with other members of the system and local leadership teams in order to carry out the mission vision and values of the Sanford Health and Marshfield Clinic. The VPMA will serve as the Hospital Medical Director for the represented Marshfield Medical Center facilities and provide medical director oversight to multiple assigned inpatient and outpatient service lines and medical specialties within the regions assigned. The VPMA will have direct oversight for hospitalbased specialties within the regions. The position will be .9 FTE administrative and .1 FTE clinical.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: Leadership experience. Demonstrated understanding of healthcare and medical economics in managed healthcare and evidence of applying this knowledge in daytoday activities.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s) certification(s) registration(s) etc. are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: Board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Medical Specialties (AOBMS).
