Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and conduct EMS education programs.
- Maintain records and documents.
- Monitor and participate in performance improvement activities.
- Develop multiple learning tools and activities to meet student needs.
- Complete program schedule for each program including but not limited to topic appropriate objectives and instructor and reading materials.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or from an approved U.S. Department of Transportation EMT Paramedic Training Program.
- Three years of critical care experience.
- Current licensure as a paramedic or RN in the state of Illinois.
- Licensed IDPH lead instructor within 1 year of employment.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers CPR certification required.
Must obtain the following certifications within 3 years of employment:
- BLS Instructor
- ITLS Instructor
- ACLS Instructor
- PALS Instructor
