Job Summary:
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Teledyne are offering a fantastic opportunity to join a small but mighty inhouse corporate marketing team responsible for the marketing of the maritime brands; Raymarine Raymarine Commercial FLIR Marine ChartWorld and 7Cs. If you are passionate about social media and content and are looking for a role where you can make an impact drive growth and utilise your creativity then this could be for you.
Working with both the marketing and wider business teams across the EMEA and APAC region you will be managing organic content across the brands fostering an engaged online community and evaluating performance. You will use your creativity to create compelling content including video infographics and other forms of digital content that will connect with target audiences and achieve marketing goals.
Main Duties of this role include:
- Develop strategy:Create longterm plans for social media marketing that aligns with each of the brands business goals
- Create content:Manage central content calendar for the brands; writing editing and upload content across social media platforms.
- Manage campaigns:Work with the wider marketing and product management teams to contribute to and optimise organic brand and product campaigns.
- External Stakeholders: Work with external contractors and agencies including translation services and production companies to identify and develop content in line with the individual business strategies
- Engage with customers:Respond to customers and provide social media customer service
- Continually Evaluate:Analyse data across social platforms to measure the success of content and campaigns with a focus on continuous improvement measured through benchmarking.
- Research competitors:Regularly review and benchmark brand social media strategy to competitors
To be ready to take on this role we would love if you have
- Expert knowledge of social platforms and respective best practices
- Demonstrate strong portfolio of digital content creation work
- Experience working across multiple brands
- Detailoriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive hands on can do approach
- Experience working in both a B2B and B2C marketing environment
- Canva Adobe Cloud or similar creative platforms/solutions
- HubSpot or similar marketing platform
- Friendly culture with a focus on collaboration problemsolving and creativity.
