Job Description

The AshburnhamWestminster Regional School District is seeking a special education teacher for Westminster Elementary School. Essential job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Responsible for the provision of direct classroom small group and individual instruction including designing and delivering appropriate curriculum/programming in a variety of for ensuring that individual programs for students are designed as measurable and rigorous aligned with their Individualized Education Program and the Massachusetts Curriculum for data collection conducting formative assessments and ongoing summative assessments to measure student growth provide feedback and differentiate teach and promote critical social communication and behavioral skills that enable students to be successful members of the classroom and school inclusion into general education classes as for supporting and facilitating inclusion in the school for collaborating and consulting with BCBAs general education teachers other special education teachers related service providers paraprofessionals school/gradelevel teams district teams and for collaborating with families promoting family involvement and promoting skill generalization from school to for serving as liaison for an assigned caseload chairing annual review team meetings as assigned writing Individualized Education Programs progress notes and writing individualized student programs.
