PAI is a nonprofit civil society organization based in Washington D.C. Founded almost 60 years ago we work to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all people through U.S. and global advocacy partnerships with multisectoral institutions and the funding of communitybased organizations across Africa Asia Latin America and the Caribbean.
PAI advocates on the global stage and works with policymakers in Washington D.C. to drive supportive and expansive U.S. foreign aid and policy for sexual and reproductive health care. We also provide flexible funding and strategic and technical advocacy support to communitybased womenled youthled and youthfocused organizations in over 30 countries so local advocates can advance sexual and reproductive health investment and policy priorities in their own countries and communities.

About the Role
PAI seeks a Director of Human Resources and Office Operations who will oversee all HR and office operations. This position plays a crucial role in supporting an inclusive workplace that enables our team to effectively advocate for sexual and reproductive health rights worldwide. The Director of Human Resources and Office Operations will report to the President & CEO as a member of the Executive Team working in collaboration with their colleagues in other functions to develop and execute a variety of HR processes and to support office operations. This position is a strategic yet handson role who can seamlessly integrate bigpicture thinking with tactical execution.
In this handson role you will manage a small but dedicated team and will have a crucial role in delivering human resources and office operations services to the organization.
The successful candidate will have deep experience working across all aspects of the HR function. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate innovation and creativity a highlevel of digital literacy employ datadriven analysis to inform decisionmaking and possess a deep care for details. They will be highly motivated to roll up their sleeves deliver excellent work build community and be very adaptable as part of a growing collaborative resultsfocused team. Excellent writing and speaking skills and a desire to learn and grow are required.

Salary and Benefits:
This position is based in Washington D.C. the salary range for this role is $125000 to $140000 USD plus benefits. This is a fulltime exempt position. The final offer for a successful candidate will be determined by a combination of factors including but not limited to skill set level of experience education and market considerations. PAI offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health dental and vision care direct contribution 403(b) retirement plan and flexible spending account.
Other Information:
Please note the position is on a hybrid work schedule currently. Four days a week Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday during PAIs core business hours (9am to 5pm) are required in the PAI office in Dupont Circle with Friday working from home.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and will be subject to a background check.
