Job Description

Amazons Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) organization powers the systems behind getting products to customers faster cheaper and more reliably. The Customer eXperience Impressions (CXI) team is SCOTs lens into the customer experience ensuring that every supply chain decision whether it is forecasting demand optimizing inventory placement or accelerating delivery aligns with what matters most to customers. We design and build systems that process terabytes of data daily capturing customer interactions at scale and enabling real time decisions and experimentation. These insights drive smarter and faster decisions that shape the way Amazon delivers joy to millions of customers worldwide.

As a Software Development Manager on the CXI team you will lead a team of engineers solving high impact problems by architecting systems that convert raw data into business changing insights.

Key job responsibilities
This role requires strong leadership technical expertise and the ability to guide a highperforming team in delivering fast reliable and impactful solutions for Amazon customers. You will prioritize rapid iteration and execution providing timely updates to your leadership team to ensure alignment and visibility. You will create an environment where your team has the freedom to experiment test new ideas and refine solutions to drive the delivery of products that your customers love.

In this role you will:

Hire mentor and grow a highperforming engineering team while aligning individual career growth with organizational goals.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product managers BIEs and leadership to define and execute roadmaps and organizational priorities.
Shape strategic direction by aligning technical capabilities with business and customer needs advocating for the right outcomes with data conviction and diplomacy.
Foster a culture of quality and engineering excellence through best practices rigorous testing standards and highquality deliverables.
Drive technical decisionmaking and clearly communicate progress both verbally and in writing to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Define and track success with clear KPIs that align team efforts with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.

10 years of engineering experience
5 years of engineering team management experience
10 years of planning designing developing and delivering consumer software experience
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs projects and development teams in an Agile environment

Experience partnering with product and program management teams
Experience designing and developing large scale hightraffic applications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $198100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $342300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
