Facility Operations Specialist 1

Woodburn Oregon MACLAREN YOUTH CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

Albany Oregon OAK CREEK YOUTH CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

Are you passionate about supporting youth while maintaining safe and functional facilities The Oregon Youth Authority is hiring two Facility Operations Specialist 1s to perform a wide range of duties including facilities maintenance and repair heating and cooling systems maintaining landscaping and grounds and electronic security systems including CCTV. This handson role also involves supervising and training youth in maintenance tasks helping them develop valuable skills and work habits. Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree in building construction industrial engineering or related field AND one year of experience planning scheduling or coordinating facility system maintenance and construction projects; OR

  • Four years of experience planning scheduling or coordinating facility system maintenance or construction projects.

Driver License Required:

Driving is an essential function of this position. A valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record are required for this position. We will conduct preemployment driving records checks on our final candidate(s).
