Were looking for a Paralegalto join our Tax Policy and PlanningDivision to provide legal support by conducting research that will aide attorneys in developing policies and procedures!

Job Duties:
In this role you will:
Conduct legal research for attorneys finding and analyzing legislation statutes and court decisions applicable to policy issues.
Compile information related to legislative actions and other policy related matters Drafts letters documents and other correspondence by telephone on policy matters.
Compose memoranda and other correspondence to assist the attorneys in determining the proper application of the Departments rules and regulations on policy matters
Perform administrative duties related to policy issuance and special projects including but not limited to issue tracking time keeping and statistical case value tracking

Appointment Type: Probational Promotional Job Appointment Detail to Special Duty or WAE
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER):
The Paralegal 1 has a starting rate of: $19.31/hourly; $1544.80/biweekly.
