We have an exciting opportunity for The Director of Traffic Services Pacific Northwest region reports directly to the Vice President of Traffic Services and is responsible for overseeing and optimizing traffic control operations across the PNW Region.
What you will be responsible for:
- Direct regional operations projects or services including all related administrative activities.
- Contribute to the management and business strategy ensuring the effective delivery of operational projects programs and all services related to operations.
- Responsible for the engagement and enforcement of leaders ensuring quality requirements and safety standards are adhered to.
- Plan develop and implement strategy and budgets for the operational management of the division within agreed targets and timelines.
- Ensure traffic control capabilities meet or exceed requirements for cost quality delivery safety and responsiveness.
- Review Health & Safety related paperwork including safety meeting minutes and ensure compliance with Washington State Department of Labor & Industries and Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
- Act in accordance with relevant legislation and laws such as The Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act (WISHA).
- Sets and maintains the standards for the continued learning and development of direct reports including working closely with Human Resources Business Partners as required to create development plans and succession readiness.
- Responsible for following proper procedures on people matters such as coaching training education corrective actions and discipline.
- Assist the VP and Marketing team with all client requests RFPs RFQS and bid opportunities.
- Stay informed of current and upcoming capital or other projects that may require traffic control needs both in manpower Traffic Control Plans and equipment to support business development opportunities.

What we need from you:
- Valid drivers license class 5 minimum.
- Minimum 7 years experience in multicity trades or similar work experience &5 years of leading managers with direct reports.
- 10 years of leadership and management experience with a track record of success leading diverse teams.
- Must maintain staterecognized Traffic Control certification provided by the employer.
- Must review and maintain a clear understanding of the Washington State Department of Transportation Traffic Manual.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of Oregons traffic control certification requirements and be familiar with applicable Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) standards.
- Must possess knowledge of Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Division (OSHA) regulations related to traffic control in construction or related industries.
- Must review and maintain a clear understanding of The Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act (WISHA).
