He or she must be qualified to provide advice and counsel to plant management on matters of occupational health as described in the Health Services ManualEssential Functions:Providing episodic preventative and acute health care to patients in an occupational health histories and physical examinationsIdentifying emergency situations and providing care within a legal scope of practiceAssists with investigations of injuries or illnesses that are suspected of being with investigations of injuries or illnesses that are suspected of being various minor medical procedures such as suturing of lacerations and removal of foreign bodies from the cornea with the intent of minimizing the expense of outside medical IN state license to practice as an NP.1 year of Occupational Medicine experience as an NP preferably in an industrial setting although will accept Emergency Room or Urgent Care experience within the last of and experience working with OSHA and workers compensation.
