Anticipated Opening: Special Education Tutor Hanscom K4 School

Job Summary
The Special Education Tutor provides direct services to individuals and small groups of students
both in the regular classroom and in special education settings.
Contractual Relationship
The Special Education Tutor is employed by the district through yearly appointments and is
compensated in accordance with hourly rates established by the School Committee.
Organizational Relationship
The Special Education Tutor reports to the Coordinator of Special Education and Pupil Services
and the special education liaison as assigned.
Responsibilities
30 hours per week; Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:50 p.m. (30 minute unpaid break); Wednesday 8:00 a.m. until 12:35 p.m. Will work 181 days (180 student days plus one (1) day before students return). Hourly rate: $26.47 (Step 1) Education Support Professional (ESP) Unit.
Benefits and Middlesex County Retirement System eligible.
