About The Firm

Our legal team is experienced in not only regulatory compliance but also business structuring and transactions litigation insurance labor and employment highway accident defense taxation mergers and acquisitions workers compensation logistics driver leasing warehousing private fleet operations outsourcing and customs. With our principal office in Indianapolis andother officeslocated coast to coast we are easily accessible to clients nationwide.

The Firm has an opening for a fulltime Litigation Docketing Assistant in the Firms Indianapolis office. The Firm has developed an optional 32 hybrid work schedule where employees are expected to work from the Indianapolis office at least three days per week and may opt to work from home up to two days per week.

The Opportunity

This position assists the Docketing Specialist with docketing administrative and organizational work in a teamoriented and collaborative environment. Assists a variety of support teams and practice groups. Handles general work overflow from the Docketing Specialist. Candidates should be motivated inquisitive and accountable with excellent communication skills good organizational and time management skills as well as be a team player.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a high school diploma with a twoyear degree preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills both oral and written.
  • Strong skills in MSWord Excel and PowerPoint Outlook various databases and Internet research skills.
  • Ability to scan through information to identify pertinent information.
  • Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift & accurate capturing.
  • Entering & updating information into relevant database.
  • Following standardized procedures to save and update files.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time appropriately.
  • Strong motivation to follow protocols and directions.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with multiple people performing other functions within the Firm.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to deal professionally and communicate clearly and concisely with clients attorneys and staff on all levels.
