As a Telecom Installer:

• You will be responsible for installing repairing and testing residential and small business telecommunication services and broadband products and services for our customers.
• You will utilize hand tools power tools and specialty tools including test equipment and/or laptop computer to install or repair and confirm product/service functioning properly to troubleshoot and take appropriate action and/or to coordinate repair and service issues with the applicable test center or other designated employees.
• You will enable wireless/wired networks on companyapproved modems/routers connecting wires and cables to terminals and attaching/detaching various kinds of hardware to wires cables buildings poles and inside facilities from the crossconnect or serving terminal up to and inside the customers home or business.
• You will respond to questions on features/usages/applications/capabilities of equipment and services review systems configuration. Test equipment lines and services to verify proper installation and/or repair.
• You will use your company provided laptop for various purposes including but not limited to: checking email reviewing ticket or circuit information running test routines.
• You will work with telecom colorcoded wires and cables and you will work with basic electricity as it relates to telecommunications.
• You will need to work well with others to achieve common goals and to foster a cooperative climate.
• You will be climbing on a regular basis including ladders and towers exceeding 200 feet. Dont worry we will train you to climb a tower.

In this position you must be willing to work overtime responding to duty calls any hour of the day or night weekends or holidays and in any kind of weather. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a great team environment. This is a union position; you will be required to join the union and pay dues on a monthly basis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS While wed love you to have telecom installer experience it is not a requirement. What is required is:

• General understanding of building construction
• A mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of electricity
• Being an independent worker
• A valid unrestricted Colorado drivers license
• Having great communication ability both with customers as well as our team.

While this might sound like a whole lot of work that you havent done before we train employees to understand the safety requirements and processes we have.
