Job Description
This is a remote position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday flexible between 9AM to 5PM Chandlers Hill South Australia
Join a growing urban development consultancy that helps property owners turn their ideas into reality. This wellestablished firm specializes in securing development approvals and shaping local communities. With many successful projects they re looking for a skilled professional to support their expanding team. In this role you ll create detailed technical documents and site plans using advanced GIS and design software. Working closely with the principal planner youll help guide property owners through the development process. This role combines technical accuracy with creative problemsolving making a real impact on property and community development.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed site plans incorporating property boundaries existing structures and proposed developments
- Utilize GIS imagery to accurately map properties and superimpose new structural designs
- Calculate and document critical measurements including boundary setbacks and structural dimensions
- Design and integrate stormwater connection documentation into site plans
- Produce professional elevation drawings that clearly communicate structural designs
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements and scale specifications
- Maintain clear communication channels with the principal planner
- Adapt to varying workload demands while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Format and prepare documentation for submission to official planning platforms
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools
- Proven experience working with GIS systems and manipulating geographical imagery
- Strong technical drawing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical documentation or related field
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently while following detailed technical specifications
- Strong time management skills and ability to handle variable workload
- Experience in property development documentation preferred but not required
- Reliable internet connection and commitment to maintaining consistent availability
- Comfortable working in a remote environment with digital collaboration tools
