The Principal Tech Business Developer will be a key member of the Last Mile Products and Technology team with responsibility for influencing business and product strategy (as a trusted advisor) and negotiating a wide range of deal types in collaboration with the Geospatial/Maps and Connected Vehicle product and technology teams. These efforts will culminate in the launch of new products and services that directly impact Last Mile delivery operations including deployment of cutting edge driver and delivery vehicle technologies. For each project you will lead required diligence develop the deal structure and negotiating strategy and own the negotiations endtoend to closure. To be successful in this position you need to be comfortable interfacing with CSuite executives from companies of all sizes (from startups to industry leaders) and earning trust across multiple internal Amazon teams (e.g. finance legal corporate development operations etc.) to achieve your goals. You should also have familiarity with a range of deal types including direct experience with product development technology licensing and integration. A successful candidate will be highly analytical and resourceful and will have the ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The candidate will have a proven track record of endtoend deal ownership and success delivering results in a fastpaced and dynamic business environment.






Key job responsibilities
Influence business and product strategy as a trusted advisor
Negotiate a wide range of deal types in collaboration with the Delivery Service Partner and Amazon Global Communities product and technology teams
Lead required diligence develop the deal structure and negotiating strategy and own the negotiations endtoend to closure
Interface with CSuite executives from companies of all sizes (from startups to industry leaders)
Partner across multiple internal Amazon teams (e.g. finance legal corporate development operations etc.) to achieve your goals
Manage largescale product development and/or technology relationships

8 years of developing negotiating and executing business agreements experience
8 years of professional or military experience
Bachelors degree
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments or as a practice leader or business unit owner
Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
