strategic oversight with
hands-on clinical care, making it ideal for experienced Paediatricians or Obstetricians & Gynaecologists who want to make a lasting impact.
About the RoleAs Clinical Director, you will:
- Provide expert clinical leadership and direction to multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure integration of services and optimal use of resources
- Deliver specialist medical care and maintain high standards of clinical practice.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to undergraduate medical education via the University of Tasmania s Rural Clinical School.
- Support service delivery to outreach hospitals
Service Snapshot:- Obstetrics & Gynaecology: Level 4 maternity and neonatal units, ~1,000 births/year, advanced procedural training site, urodynamics, laparoscopy and colposcopy services.
- Paediatrics: Inpatient and outpatient services, neonatal care, regional outreach, and growing behavioural/community paediatrics services.
- Accredited for both RACP and RANZCOG training.
