Job Description
Job Description: The Wrestling Coach is responsible for the instruction and development of the wrestling team. This includes conducting practices promoting safety preparing athletes for competition and teaching techniques that align with NFHS wrestling standards. The coach should also model good sportsmanship and support the academic and social growth of all team members.
Qualifications:
- Wrestling experience at the high school or collegiate level is required
- Demonstrated coaching ability with emphasis on technique strength training and conditioning
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Certified in CPR/First Aid and meets state coaching certification requirements
- Commitment to fostering a respectful inclusive and positive team environment
