Part-Time Faculty Pool - Accounting - School of Global Business

Job Description: Arcadia University invites applications for Accounting Adjunct Professors in the School of Global Business. Specifically the School is looking for faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Financial Accounting Auditing and Advanced Accounting.

Adjunct Faculty instructors will work closely with the Department Chair and/or Program Director to provide instruction in a predominantly inperson mode of instruction.

The number of parttime instructors hired varies from semester to semester depending upon the needs of the program. When a position is available qualified applicants may be contacted for an interview and asked to submit further documentation. While there may not be immediate openings the hiring manager will review applications when openings do occur. Individuals are most likely to instruct courses inperson at our Glenside Campus.

The School of Global Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and offers Bachelors Degrees in Business Administration Accounting Healthcare Administration International Business and Culture Marketing and Sport Management. The school also offers a fully online Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).

Responsibilities:

• Teach 1 or 2 accounting courses per semester in a primarily in person method

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in accounting businessrelated disciplines or relevant certifications (CPA CIA etc.)
  
• Relevant professional experience and/or Prior teaching experience in the fields of accounting
