Job Description

The eCommerce Specialist is a highly motivated creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting in the digital space with current and future customers. This passion comes through as he/she engages with customers on a daily basis with the ultimate goal of leveraging transactional sites as well as market to new channels engage with customers and assist with conversions to purchase. An essential component of this role is communicating the companys brands in a positive authentic way what will attract todays interconnected buyers. This position will develop content management on transactional and branded websites and digital advertising/promotional campaigns on assigned accounts. The position works collaboratively with the completion of all external customer requests for the data collection and entry of all item attributes into approved systems to facilitate new item onboarding to drive sales revenue through brick and mortar B to B and B to C customer partners as well as echannel sales. These attributes are related to a variety of subjects and fields including but not limited to product data information including item dimensions weights and measures; material composition; general specifications as well as product images features benefits and pricing. This role will collaborate with the companys Analytics Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute the digital marketing strategy for The Master Lock Companys ecommerce channel. This position is instrumental in managing the companys digital contentrelated assets.

Responsibilities

  • Key Content and IDC Areas 
  • Create curate and manage digital content (images video and written).
  • Manage the design creation and analytics of promotions on transitional sites and Social ad campaigns.  Monitor listen and respond to users in a Social way while helping to cultivate leads for inside sales.  Manage efforts in building brand reputation monitoring and responding to online reviews as appropriate based on star rating.
  • Develop relevant content topics to reach the companys target customers and leverage customer/product testimonials. o Oversee design elements (ie: Facebook Timeline cover profile pic thumbnails ads landing pages Twitter profile Blog etc.). 
  • Analyze key metrics and adapt strategy as needed.
  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
  • Assist when needed with item data management work across all of TMLC
  • Become an advocate for the company in ratings and reviews engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Provide input on digital marketing plans and drive execution of this plan.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools applications channels design and strategy.
  • Identify threats and opportunities in usergenerated content surrounding the company.  Report notable threats to appropriate management.
  • Analyze campaigns and provide recommendations and plans for revising social media content marketing SEO and social advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

Qualifications:

  • Measure & Analyze to Establish ROI Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in related discipline (marketing communications etc.)
  • Mnimum of 3 years of experience in the development and execution of digital marketing programs including the development of product copy photography video rich media.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in traditional marketing as well as can demonstrate experience with content development in digital media. 
  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
  • Experience working within a team atmosphere as well as independently.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of Search and Social.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as PowerPoint Excel and Word.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $45000 USD $77000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased sales incentive plan.
