We are seeking an enthusiastic and visionary Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Miri Malaysia. As a Sales Manager you will play a crucial role in driving our companys sales growth developing and implementing effective sales strategies and leading a highperforming sales team.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets across various market segments.
- Lead mentor and inspire a team fostering a highperformance culture to maximize productivity and success.
- Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify opportunities for business growth and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Front Office Revenue Management Marketing and F&B) to enhance guest satisfaction and drive repeat business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients travel agents event planners and corporate partners to secure longterm partnerships.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs showcasing the hotels unique offerings.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Forecast sales set team goals and develop action plans to meet and exceed revenue and occupancy objectives.
- Implement and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency streamline workflow and enhance productivity.
- Stay updated on industry trends emerging markets and best practices in hotel sales and revenue management.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar capacity within the hotel industry with a proven track record of success in driving revenue and securing corporate leisure and MICE business.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize occupancy ADR and RevPAR.
- Strong understanding of hotel sales processes revenue management principles and market segmentation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with corporate clients travel agencies and event planners.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret market trends competitor analysis and performance data to make strategic decisions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customercentric approach to building longterm business relationships.
- Ability to motivate and lead a sales team to achieve ambitious revenue targets and foster a highperformance culture.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple client portfolios and business development activities effectively.
- Adaptability to changing market conditions evolving customer preferences and business needs.
- Familiarity with the local hospitality and business landscape in Miri Malaysia is an advantage.
